  • We loved staying at the LOGE. The room was cleaned and perfect. We loved that they have bikes and paddle boards for free so you can go to the river, cycle, etc. We will definitely go back!

  • Rooms definitely are outdated and the roads need a good re paving and there’s nothing to eat outside of freezer burritos and pastries but the workers are awesome and the whole concept is amazing if you like being outside and don’t have bikes or what not, definitely a little bit of work and it could be a place that’s fully booked 365 days for sure

  • Loved this place. Rooms were immaculately clean and the bed, linens and towels were pure luxury. We had a great hike and dip in the river. Our dogs had a great time too. It was so nice to be able to bring them everywhere with us. We had a short stay, as we were only in town for a weekend wedding, so we didn't partake of the bikes or other activities. Maybe next time.

  • Good: Location and layout were really enjoyable and conducive to meeting other folks staying at the loge. Although I didn’t use them I thought that it was great that as a guest you had access to so many amenities (bikes, pool, hot tub, fire pits etc.). This made the higher price worth it! Bad: The bed was in rough shape. My partner and I slept in a queen bed and it was concave in the middle. We kept waking up both rolled into the middle of the bed.

  • Good: The Loge was superb in every way! The staff could not have been more accommodating - especially Tyler and Maria. Free ice, coffee, city bikes, mountain bikes, SUPs, tubes, S'mores, Traeger grills, and so much more. Our family of five had two rooms and while the family room was snug for 2 parents and their adult male kids, it made for a very fun time. The chillest vibe ever-we are big fans of the Loge model and will try to stay there every time we travel now. Thanks LOGE! Bad: There was a slight odor near one of the buildings, like a septic tank or something. But it was occasional.

  • Good: Location, room design, all the fun little details, hot tub, comfort, cleanliness, yoga in the morning, fire pits... All great. Great value. We escaped a crappy motel and decided to try this for just a little extra money, and it was waaaaaay better. Bad: Nothing.

  • This review is relatively objective - staying for one night solo in July during a 47 night/25 property USA road trip. Easily found in a wooded area. The roadside sign indicated ‘No Vacancies’ - but I tried anyway - and bingo, they did have availability. Wonder how much passing trade they miss because of this? Friendly staff. Externally this has the appearance of a pretty average roadside motel - as per the title - appearances can be deceptive. The rooms have been really updated and modernised, with laminate flooring - a better & practical/hygenic alternative to standard ‘sticky’ motel carpets. Mine was clean, large enough to have a settee in the lounge area, comfortable and well eauippped. The reception/lounge area and outside sitting area offered basic drinks and snacks, but no breakfast as such. I used one of their decent ‘complementary’ MTB’s to ride through the woods to the river on well marked trails. WiFi was good, but had to be logged into for every session. The only ******* I found were 1 - the electronic pad door key system - when they say even if the rooms are ready that you can’t move in until 1500 they mean it - the lock isn’t activated until then! However you can have an early check in for a fee! And 2 - there is a building site on the adjacent plot. There was an $25 amenity fee, which I guess covered the ‘complimentary’ MTB hire ! Average value for the time of the year and standard of the unit.

  • Phenomenal Experience!!! So many amenities for adventure lovers: paddle boards, floating tubes, city bikes, Specialized hard tails & awesome very capable Stumpjumper EVO's for the local trails...all for the small one time fee. There is even a bike washing area with a stand, tools and place to chill. The rooms are perfect for adventures in Bend with a hammock, bike racks, fridge, microwave, water kettle and Yeti cooler. There is Happy Hour (Draft Beers & tasty seltzers), coffee, great hydration beverages, breakfast sandwiches, cookies, pastries. Everything is clean and well maintained, like the pool and hot tub. We want to especially want to thank Nina, Tyler and Yvonne for being so friendly, accommodating, and providing the highest echelon of customer service and making my Birthday adventure perfect! There was a live performance and The craft cocktails out of the Airstream from Brianna are out of this world delicious and such a great place to chill. Amazing vibe, all the guests were great, you don't have to worry about your gear and Loge maximizes your time to get out, reset, or just enjoy being there!

  • We love staying here due to the access to the trails and dog friendliness. The rooms are decent although, they are in need of an electrical upgrade. There are not many electrical outlets. They do have a USB charger which is good but I use USB-C charging which requires a plug in. I did fine a power strip dangling behind the refridgerator that I used. Overall it's a great stay and we saw a great band that played on property. It's a big draw for the local community. The access to the dog friendly trails and the Mtn bike trails are alway a big draw for us. We also have stayed here in the winter which provides great access to Bachelor. We love staying here. Additionally the smores package were a great touch.

  • Good: Rooms are set up for people who spend time outside hiking, biking, skiing, etc. they have fire pits to hang out around at night, there is a pool. Bad: The front desk/cafe staff in the morning is checked out. No good morning, coffee pots and water empty all the time. Just stares at the computer doing nothing. Ironically, the house cleaner and facility people are friendlier.

  • This is an old school gem. Updated out door themed, its quiet, invites the outdoors, my room even had a rack to hang my bike, a refreshing pool, not surrounded by a 4 story hotel, but old ponderos's. All one story. It a gem from old Bend, a great vibe.

  • They give you a lot of amenities for your stay. If you are in Bend for an adventure this room is the best bang for your buck. We were not, so the cost wasn't really worth it for us. However - they will give you tubes to float the river and they don't tell you that!

  • Good: Guests were very friendly, lots of dogs. Staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions for a shady hot day hike. Loved the coffee in the public space in the morning, hammocks, outdoor spaces, bike rack and Yeti cooler in our room. Bed was very comfortable. Bad: Bathroom did not have a fan.

  • My family and I had a great stay here! We especially loved the fire pit and s'mores after our long day of exploring. The grounds and unique details in the room (like the hammock, bike friendly accessories, Yeti, and the small souvenirs to take with us) made the vibe super fun. We will stay again!

  • On our way to LOGE we were reading up on the reviews and we came across a new one that wasn’t awesome. But I told my family that you have to read between the lines on the overly nasty reviews, that it says more about the person than the place. I was very happy to be proved correct! This place was awesome! Yes there were little things that they could do, like hide tv wires haha but that’s just something we laughed about because they put so much detail into this place that having those wires exposed seemed odd. Having the hammocks all over the property AND in the room was awesome! My teen loved it and she had so much fun. The whole atmosphere was awesome, it reminded me of a school/church camp! We left like we were camping and it was nice that it was on the outskirts of town. The pool was relaxing and great areas to lounge in the shade for sun! Our room was clean, and set up perfectly for our arrival, AC worked great, toilet was surprising quiet which is always a plus in the middle of the night! The only reason I didn’t give them a 5 star is because we were in the very back and the lot desperately needs re-paving. It was rough getting all of the way to the back, a gravel road is much better to drive on.

  • Good: Last time we were here it was just in and out and we didn't get to enjoy all this place has to offer. I didn't make that mistake this time!! Amenities GALORE: -pool -Hot tub (jets weren't working) -s'mores kits and fire pits -bikes -tubes for floating the river -coffee -shade and hammocks galore -Traeger grills -hammocks in the room!! -great staff!! Bad: A few bugs in the room, but this is more of a camping feel, so it's not a big deal to me.

  • Good: Best location for Mt. Bachelor. Many hiking, biking trails next to property and nearby. Near Deschutes River and town of Bend. Nice to avoid the cha cha line traffic jam on Reed Market Dr. after skiing. Parking directly in front of room. Fabulous giant spa. Many toys and games, things to do around property. Each group of buildings has its own BBQ and firepit. Fuel provided. Room has fridge w small freeze and microwave. Our room had a small seating area in addition to the bed area. Bad: The pavement/parking lot surface was so uneven and rough we and our gear were tossed around every time we drove in and out. Slow speed didn't help. Cost was about average for the area for basic accommodations. Not inexpensive.

  • We had the best stay at Loge! You have access to the trailheads, it’s close to town (could ride in) pool and hot tub were great. We enjoyed the room, hammocks everywhere and the free gear rental is such an added bonus. They just got mountain bikes in all sizes so we were able to take those out all day for free! Great value if you plan to rent anything.

  • Good: Great location! Fun little place with a nice vibe close to town but also close to adventure spots. Loved the ability to reserve gear from the hotel. We got bikes and biked into downtown Bend along the bike path, great fun! We also reserved tubes and floated the river the next day. Rooms were equipped to handle lots of gear which was very helpful. Bed was super comfy and AC worked well. Bad: Some breakfast options would have been nice and maybe a communal bathroom with showers for after the pool or activities. But not a deal breaker. Floors in the rooms a little dirty, but to be expected in an outdoorsy place.

  • Good: Besides a decent pool and large hot tub, it offered free use of bikes, paddle boards, float tubes to include helmets, pumps, etc. Staff at desk and housekeeping provided excellent courteous service and advice. Bad: Pillows were kinda flat and on the non-plush side.

  • Good: The hotel grounds are very pretty. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Mountain bikes & cruisers are available & it's a short & easy ride on a paved path into town. Beds are comfortable. Coffee, snacks, and beer/wine available. Missed the 5pm s'mores, but they're available. Bad: Bathroom was smallish & could use an update.

  • This place is amazing on so many levels, and we hope to return. Love the camp vibe and shared facilities, grills, recreation equipment, etc. The only downside to this place— some of our rooms (we were with a group) had mold issues (which is actually kind of amazing in a place as dry as Bend.) Our bathroom fan did not work, which is obviously the source of the problem. Other rooms had similar issues. Hope they fix those things, because the setting and idea is great. Actually, the other issue was the sheets. Weird complaint, but if they switch to fitted sheets instead of flat sheets for the bottom sheet, it would actually hold the bottom sheet in place. Our bottom sheet drove us crazy pulling out from the corners and wadding up each night.

    July 2, 2024

  • Good: Everything Bad: Arrived about an hour early before checkout and a staff member was going to see if we could check in a little earlier cause we had a concert to go to but she left us until after 4 before we actually got to check in although when asked another staff member she said our room had been ready earlier. The other member got us in right away after saying she didn’t know why we were told it wasn’t ready.

  • The LOGE is an adventurer's hotel! Each room had bike racks for our MTB, a hammock for fun, and a YETI in case we wanted to adventure somewhere for the day. Very close to a whole trail network for Mountain Biking, Trail running and even a paved trail for road biking. The property has an on-site dog park, hammock hang out area, pool and lounge with wifi if you need to take meetings. I think all rooms are Dog-Friendly too! I was also able to get free access to a hard-tail mountain bike and helmet included in my stay! Free coffee and tea! I would say the only thing about the hotel that is lackluster is food options. We ended up having to drive to downtown Bend to find food as the hotel only has pre-packed snacks. Each room does have a fridge. Also it isn't the quietest - we found the heater/bathroom fan to be quite noisy.

    June 29, 2024

  • Motel style, great location with tons to do! Only downside is the walls are paper thin so you can hear all the noise. But they do expect quiet hours to be adhered to, but there’s always one or two families that ignore the rules. Overall though I would definitely be back when we’re in Bend!

    June 27, 2024

  • Good: Location was great, liked being a little bit out of town. Hotel was a comfortable place to just find a table and couple of chairs and relax. There was a nice walking trail to the river which was great in the morning. Lots of happy dogs everywhere. Coffee available in the lobby in the morning Bad: The beds were very low to the ground. Did have a large beetle type bug drawing across the ceiling before bed. I felt like the bathtub floor was going crack while I was taking a shower.

    June 26, 2024

  • Good: Pool, sauna, hot tub, the many fire pits and seating areas, lounge area inside, hammocks, even in room! Bad: Wish the pool, sauna and hot tub opened earlier, 10am late especially when checkout is 11am

    June 26, 2024

  • Good: Good night of sleep. Bad: Since check-in was via text, we did not get the opportunity to talk with someone at the front desk. Was not aware of the snack offerings. There was no information about the property in the room. This is our second stay at The Loge in Bend, and both times we have had trouble figuring out how to use the t.v. The first time, someone had to come to our room to help and it was difficult for him to resolve the issue. This last stay, we had to call the front desk, and after about an hour, we were able to watch non-local stations. Very frustrating.

    June 21, 2024

  • At first I was disappointed, I thought it was on the river (walking distance) and rented paddle boards. I was under the impression I could walk out the facilities down to the river. This is not case. Otherwise, it was a fun little set up with fire pits, games, hammocks etc. The room was a little worn but doable. Neat concept, just needs a bit of TLC. It would be epic if it was waterfront.

  • Good: The area is nice lots of outdoor activities. Bon fire and s’mores. Bad: The beds are very very low on the ground. I’m 6’ and my husband is 6’4”. It made it very difficult to get out of bed.

    June 15, 2024

  • Good: The bed was comfortable and the whole vibe of the place was relaxing! Driving onto the property people were chilling in lawn chairs and strolling the premise. My husband and I had a very nice time here! The shower was a bit outdated but the renovation created a comfortable environment. We saw a couple carpenter ants but I let them know and am sure they’ll do something about it! It didn’t really bother us thankfully just wanted to make sure they were aware :) Bad: We liked the location a lot it felt like staying on a campgrounds away from the city but still had the convenience and cleanliness a hotel provides.

  • Good: Perfect location! The room was good and we loved the hammock hanging in the middle! Bad: The beds weren't great, but they were fine. The A/C was wicked loud! On the other hand, we really appreciated having the A/C- so, overall balanced.

    June 2, 2024

  • Good: This place really caters to the traveler who comes to bend to ski, cycle, hike, or in our case, kayak. It was wonderful to be able to bring our kayaks into our room for the days we hiked -- much better than leaving them on the top of the car at a trailhead. Nightly s'mores and good morning coffee were much appreciated. The outdoorsy decor and amenities like indoor and outdoor hammocks, boot/shoe drying racks, and in-room gear hooks were both fun and helpful. Bad: Any complaints would be nitpicky. This is a great place.

  • LOGE is a wonderful new take on a classic motel. Family and dogs will all enjoy the location and unique amenities. The Bend experience isn't the Bend experience if you get out of a river or off a trail and go into a shiny glass tower of a big chain property...
